Proudly Serving Our Community
At ALMEA, your Vancouver, WA insurance agency of choice, our focus on the communities we serve starts with helping clients achieve their financial and security goals, but goes even farther. Each of us is actively involved in our community through a wide range of programs, from making Christmas a little happier for children, to supporting education programs that enable young people to become better guardians of their own finances. Here are some of the organizations we are proud to support.
ALMEA has been involved with the Christmas for Kids foundation since 1994. In 2009, ALMEA Insurance, Inc. and Kemper Auto and Home were Co-Sponsors of The Christmas for Kids Foundation’s annual event. More than 620 children received needed items such as toys, clothing, new shoes, and new coats provided by Columbia Sportswear.
ALMEA has supported Warner Pacific College since 1998 and was the title sponsor for the 2009 Warner Pacific College Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the event provide scholarships for the students.
Each month our employees volunteer at Birch Community Services, assisting over 500 families in need of healthy food and other basic items.
Operation HOPE, Inc. is a non-profit, public benefit organization and is America’s leading provider of economic tools and services. HOPE has been ringing alarm bells with respect to the state of our financial illiteracy, and the vulnerability this creates in our community, stability and economy, for 17 years now. With the present global impact of the economic crisis, reaching all socio-economic levels from the poor to the middle class, the work of HOPE has never been more relevant.
Banking on Our Future is a full delivery financial education program that links professionals with schools and community groups. These professionals are trained to teach youth how to budget, manage a bank account, understand the details of credit and an introduction to investing in a fun, engaging and relevant program.
