In 2001, ALMEA, your insurance agency in Vancouver, became one of the first paperless agencies in Oregon by converting all paper files to electronic. This saved company office space and greatly reduced ALMEA’s environmental footprint.
Today, all documents, faxes, e-mails, policy data, are handled electronically. More and more of our carriers and service providers are adopting similar methods of a paperless environment.
The Clackamas County Office of Sustainability recognized ALMEA with the 2008 BRAG (Business Recycling Awards Group) award for excellent business practices in preventing waste, buying recycled, and recycling.
