Ken Schmidt, President
Ken has almost 30 years of knowledge gained from various underwriting, product and sales roles during his career. Ken joined the agency in 2006 as our General Manager. In 2007 he became a partner with a focus on HR and Sales Management related issues. Ken’s production specialty is Business Insurance with his goal being to save you time, money and efficiency beyond just your insurance premium. Ken earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2011, which builds upon his MBA degree earned in 2003. He is married with four children and lives in Camas, WA.
Bill Wilson, CLU, LUTCF, Chief Operations Officer/Vice President
Bill is a native Oregonian who grew up on a farm in the Molalla area, and graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He began his career in financial services and insurance in 1986, and completed the Charter Life Underwriter designation in 2000. In 1992, Bill worked for Key Bank of Oregon Insurance Services, and when Key Bank sold the Insurance Services Division to ALMEA Insurance, Inc. in 1994, Bill became a partner. He now owns the agency.
One of Bill’s passions is helping the Christmas for Kids Foundation (CFK), where he serves as president. CFK provides needed items such as clothing, shoes, backpacks, and toys to the children and their families who otherwise could not provide for themselves. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, barbequing, camping with his wife of 27 years, and spending time with friends.
Rebecca manages our health and benefits department and she has been in the insurance industry since 2007. Her primary focus has been to act as a liaison for people of all ages to insure they understand the insurance products they need…then to be the best representative for them from the point of purchase on. Rebecca is very passionate about your lives and takes her responsibilities seriously. She has made it her responsibility to focus on seniors and Medicare but is very knowledgeable about Group and Individual Health, Life and Annuity business. Aaron Geisler, MBA
Aaron is a native Oregonian who grew up in the small community of Damascus Oregon. He graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and from Chadron State College with a Master of Business Administration.
Aaron’s objective is to help businesses and their employees prepare for known and unknown risks. Aaron does this by leveraging his MBA and taking a personal step-by-step holistic approach to risk management and business planning that addresses his client’s unique goals and objectives. Aaron enjoys meeting new people and learning about the worlds changing the technological landscape. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family doing activities such as skiing, camping, woodworking, and target shooting.
Chris is a long time financial services expert with substantive knowledge of mortgages and insurance, particularly on commercial property. He is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys working with new business clients. Chris is also our opportunity agent within the personal lines division. Linda Tomor, CIC
Linda started working in the insurance industry over 25 years ago. She has worked for several different companies as a Commercial Underwriter, but in 2010 she had the opportunity to work for a regional carrier in that role. Linda has also worked in the wholesale brokerage side of the insurance industry.
In 2004, she joined ALMEA Insurance, Inc. (ALMEA) as a Commercial Lines Account Manager after leaving ALMEA for a few years to pursue other opportunities, Linda came back to work for ALMEA in 2013 in the role of Commercial Lines Account. ALMEA is fortunate to have Linda as an employee since she truly enjoys using all of her combined knowledge to assist her customers in obtaining the right insurance coverage for all of their commercial insurance needs. Linda enjoys cooking with her husband, snow skiing, and doing art and craft projects.
Caitlin joined ALMEA in the fall of 2016, starting out as an agent within our Auto/Property team. Late in the year, she was re-assigned to the Business Insurance division. Cate comes to us with a degree from Central Washington and experience at two of our competitors within the commercial insurance arena. Michael J. White
Michael is our newest Sales Consultant, new to the insurance industry effective January, 2017. However, Mike has a tremendous background in many ancillary types of businesses, most notably, Property Management and Realty. He is a Clark County native and ready to help save your business money, time and efficiency.

Becky came to A.L. Insurance by way of our merger with DL Anderson Insurance in early 2013. Becky has a vast amount of insurance experience in virtually all lines of business that we sell and service. She works from our Eatonville office, is the primary service agent for DL Anderson Insurance customers and supports our business insurance needs when required. She can help you in so many ways. Tamara started with our agency in early 2014. She brings extensive experience as a customer account manager for your personally owned autos, homes, renters and other property on which you may require insurance coverage. Randy’s experience really helps his customers get it right the first time, every time. Randy is the agency’s Personal Lines Manager. Tayler began her P & C career with A.L Insurance in March, 2016. She brings over seven years of experience in the insurance industry and a breadth of experience within the customer service arena. Tayler is the Sales Agent for our Vancouver office. In this role, she works with all our opportunity business which represents new business applications on clients who have taken the opportunity to call us, visit us or click through for quote information on our website. She has resided in Vancouver for over 35 years raising her three beautiful children who are 19, 17 & 13. Tayler enjoys cooking, exploring, volunteering in the community and non-profits. Katelyn is our new agency receptionist. Her role became effective in early 2016, taking over from our previous receptionist who was in the position for many years. Katelyn has made this front office job her own. She is a wiz on the computer, learns extremely quickly and is a real joy to have in the office. She is engaged to be married in August in Camas WA. She enjoys heading out to the beautiful Gorge during the summer to hike and enjoy the small quaint towns. Originally from Marin County in Northern California, Katelyn has lived up here for the last 13 years and truly calls this area of Washington State her home.
